Leaders come in all shapes, sizes, purposes, and contexts. Some lead corporations while others lead local communities. At times they may not even see themselves as leaders — yet they still impact those around them.
This website will hold podcast interviews, notes and stories about the journeys and transformations of leaders. It may also help uncover new and deeper definitions for the meaning of leadership.
I’m targeting October / November 2010 to start posting the first interviews. If you would like to be notified about the podcasts, please send me a note at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The cliff in the program title is a metaphor for times when we’re faced with challenges that seem utterly new, ambiguous or daunting. These moments change us as individuals and leaders. The cliff metaphor is seen in various works from John Dewey’s Experience and Education (1938) to Clutterbuck and Megginson’s Mentoring Executives & Directors (1999).
Voices of the cliff will sound from leaders and experts who traverse, facilitate, and are touched by these moments.
